What can we do for you?

In two words - Parts and Service. Midwest Wrecker Repair was started with the intent of providing the customer a reliable place for parts and service needs of varying degrees. Our intent is to continue to grow on hand inventory because "Minimizing Equipment Downtime Is Our Goal". On our first day open for business we started with about $5800.00 in inventory. At the conclusion of our 8th month we now have just under $39,000.00. Providing the customer the parts they need in a timely fashion is not nice, it's a necessity. There's been more then one occasion when we've sent the customer to the competition because we didn't have the part that the customer needed right away. If getting the customer's needs taken care of in the customer's time frame means sending them to the competition, then so be it. Let's face it, no one wants to loose a sale to the competition, but the customer's needs are more important than that.

Parts blow-ups and breakdowns for most bodies and components can be faxed, e-mailed, or even regular mailed for those who are a tad behind the time. ;-) Daily UPS pick-up Monday-Friday as late as 4pm will get most parts delivered by the next day for ground service from St. Louis to Cincinnati and Louisville to Chicago. Digital camera on hand to confirm some of the non-specific parts before you buy. Lets face it, us sending you the wrong part doesn't do either of us any good. Even in state customers within an hour of Indianapolis stand to benefit from the UPS daily pick-up. In the event of a 1-3 pound package, can you afford to send a driver and a piece of equipment out of your territory for the $6.00 it'll cost to ship it?

Service is important whether it be us performing the maintenance or repairs ourselves or just advising on a repair that you plan to do, we have all levels of maintenance requirements from our customer base. Thinking of buying a used truck? Bring it in for an independant inspection before you buy. It doesn't matter to us whether you buy the truck from wrecker sales place A or B. We don't sell trucks so there's no conflict of interest in us looking it over, but you get the benefit of our experience as added protection.

If you are large enough that you have a mechanic that performs your maintenance and repairs, you might consider a periodic inspection to assure that everything is being maintained properly and costly breakdowns are minimalized. Towing equipment isn't like working on an airplane or a space shuttle, but knowing what to look for makes all the difference. Attention to detail and experience are not that common in general mechanics, so having your equipment checked out every once and a while is cheap insurance.
